What this product is for

• ⚗️ Strong Alkali – Also used as a strong alkali in chemical reactions where technically appropriate.

Before you use it

• 📋 Professional Use Only – Use only by trained staff with qualified technical advice and a documented workplace procedure.
• 🛠️ Application – Follow the current manufacturer label or site procedure for any cleaning, descaling, paint-removal or chemical-process use. The SDS does not provide recipe-style dilution rates for these applications.
• 🧤 Dust & Contact Control – Do not breathe dust. Prevent contact with eyes, skin and clothing and use the PPE required by the SDS and risk assessment.
• 📦 Storage – Keep only in suitable original/corrosion-resistant packaging, tightly closed, dry and locked away. The material is hygroscopic and readily absorbs water from air.

Safety and handling

• 🚨 Danger — Corrosive Solid – Classified Skin Corr. 1A H314 and Met. Corr. 1 H290.
• ⚠️ Hazards – Causes severe skin burns and eye damage and may be corrosive to metals.
• 🧤 PPE – Do not breathe dust. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye/face protection.
• 🩹 First Aid – If swallowed, rinse mouth and do not induce vomiting. If in eyes, rinse cautiously with water and continue rinsing. If on skin or hair, remove contaminated clothing and rinse skin with water.
• 📦 Storage – Store locked up, in appropriate corrosion-resistant packaging, and protect from moisture because the product is hygroscopic.
