What is Bactericidal Detergent used for?
The Multex product information describes a detergent/disinfectant/sanitiser concentrate for professional cleaning and hygiene on suitable surfaces. It is colourless and odourless, making it a practical option when an unperfumed cleaning product is required.
In commercial kitchens and food-preparation environments, follow the current label to confirm permitted surfaces, dilution, required contact time and whether rinsing is necessary. Do not assume a general-purpose cleaner can replace a product-specific workplace hygiene process.
How to prepare and use Bactericidal Detergent
- Choose the intended task. Check the current Multex label for the particular surface and required hygiene treatment.
- Remove visible debris where necessary. Prepare the surface according to the label and workplace cleaning procedure.
- Dilute as directed. Use the manufacturer's exact concentration for the application; do not substitute another product's mixing ratios.
- Apply for the required time. Use suitable cleaning equipment and follow the label-specified contact and rinsing instructions, especially for surfaces that may contact food.
- Clean and store equipment. Close the original container and follow the safety instructions for disposal and storage.
A matching dosing pump may help measure concentrate, but its dispensing volume does not define the dilution for your task.
Essential health and safety
DANGER — causes skin irritation (H315) and serious eye damage (H318). Wear protective gloves and suitable eye/face protection. Avoid splashing and breathing spray mist. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use and do not mix with other cleaning chemicals.
If the concentrate enters the eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of water; the Multex SDS instructs a 15-minute rinse and specialist medical assessment. Follow the complete supplier first-aid instructions for other exposures.
